Site Council Mission
The purpose of the site council is
- Vehicle for school community to come together to chart the school's path to improvement.
- A forum for all players to identify common goals and establish a plan.
- Cooperative manner to develop an effective curricular and instructional program.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive strategy to improve curriculum and instruction.
- Establish and maintain a vision of the skills and knowledge students need to be competitive.
- Coordinate with the district to upgrade its curriculum offerings and quality of instruction.

The Site Council usually meets on the second Tuesday of the month in the evening at 7:00 PM in the Valencia School cafeteria. The meeting agenda usually includes a report from the principal and from Valencia's North Zone representatives.
The current (2008-2009 school term) members of the Site Council and their terms are as follows:
