We are extremely proud to announce that the hard work of students and staff produced a 30 point gain in the state Academic Performance Indicator (API) with a score of 830. API tracks how the students in the school performed in their various sub-groups, such as English Learners, ethnic and socio-economic groups. We met goals for all sub-groups. Over the last 3 years, we have improved 53 points. Student achievement continues to climb.

OUR GOALS

  1. All students at Valencia will meet or exceed grade level standards, in reading, language arts and math.
  2. All students will make at least one year's growth in academic areas as measured by annual standardized and criterion-referenced tests.
  3. All English language learners will attain proficiency in oral and written English within 3 years of entering school.
  4. All members of the Valencia community will have opportunities to participate in activities that foster cooperation, respect, and responsibility in our diverse world.
